Volunteer Requirements

Every Capital Odyssey team is required to either provide or pay for one volunteer position by the April 15 deadline.

Volunteer registration opens March 1 through our online volunteer system. The Reno-Tahoe Odyssey covers 178 miles and requires tremendous volunteer coverage to safely manage exchange points and course logistics. Volunteers are a critical part of making the Odyssey possible.

Teams that fail to either provide volunteers or pay the required fee by April 15 will be subject to an additional $150 penalty, and start times will be withheld until the requirement is satisfied.

This policy applies to all teams, without exception, and is essential to the safe and successful operation of our three Odyssey relays.
